The Air-Liner Light Road is the ultralight tubeless insert designed to maximize road racing performance.
Tested on trails and perfected on tarmac, the Air-Liner Light Road brings the stability, plush comfort, and puncture protection of the proven Air-Liner design to road cycling. It delivers bead stability, run-flat capability, and impact protection while preserving the supple ride feel and speed demanded by performance-driven riders. Featuring a specific foam formulation and a hexagonal profile, the insert is compressed when the tire is inflated to maintain optimal rolling performance. As air pressure decreases following a puncture, it expands to fill the internal volume of the tire, allowing riders to continue in run-flat mode for up to 50km (30 miles).
Vittoria's high-density polymer structure mutes chatter and ramps up under big impacts, increasing ride comfort and preventing rim strikes. This turns the tires into a shock-absorbing suspension by maintaining a bead lock and preventing rim strikes at lower PSI. The waterproof coating prevents the absorption of sealant, and the insert has an install life of 2,000 hours. These inserts are compatible with ammonia-free sealant, multiway tubeless valves, and 700c rims and tires.
